Clementine is a dreamer with her head in the clouds. When her big sister, Florence moves away for music school, Clem is heartbroken. Everything is different. Her life, once filled with music and joy, feels heavy, like rain clouds.

Clem’s grandmother is sick, her parents don’t live together anymore, and her big sister is no longer just a room away. When the school talent show is announced, Clem can’t find the inspiration to write a new cloud song. Will the arrival of a new student (and potential new friend) make everything light again?

Jess Galatola has always loved storytelling and creative writing. She wrote her first picture book in Grade Two, which won and award. Jess has over ten years experience as a Drama/English teacher and is the author of a number of picture books.
