Tomiko Starling has endured many trials and tribulations in her life, but with the help of God and His Word, she has made it through them all. Be Ye Encouraged is the result of a seven-month adventure with God as He gave her the titles and the messages as she rode to work each day on a commuter bus. Having found encouragement for herself, she now freely shares that same encouragement with others.

Married and the mother of three children, Starling currently resides with her family in northern Virginia.
