Regression analysis is a powerful tool for understanding the statistical relationship between any two variables. This book is an introduction to regression analysis which focuses on the practical aspects of conducting regression analysis and the real-world applications of this tool. To be accessible to students from across the social sciences, the text uses as little maths as possible and focuses instead on intuition and worked examples. Using Stata throughout, the book also encourages students to replicate the analyses throughout the book and practice using the tools and techniques for themselves. Readers are also taught about the proper interpretation and communication of regression results - whether through a bachelor's thesis, a master's thesis or a scholarly journal article.
