When a new kid moves into town, he brings with him a mystery as big as his house! Reggie Armitage the III has found a box with a list of codes and a golden skeleton key but he has no idea what the key opens or how to crack the code. It's a good thing 2nd-grade sleuths, Jigsaw Jones and Mila Yeh, are on the case.

We're reissuing this beloved chapter book mystery series from James Preller with a fresh package and classic illustrations from R. W. Alley. A brand new hardcover original, Jigsaw Jones and the Case of the Hat Burglar, will also be publishing alongside these originals in Spring 2019.

Industry Reviews

Jigsaw Jones and the Case from Outer Space:

"Fans . . . can count on the series for likable characters and a bit of a challenge here and there. . . . With short sentences, bits of humor, and engaging illustrations, the latest early chapter book in Preller's long-running Jigsaw Jones Mystery series has plenty of appeal for young independent readers." --Booklist

"Those who enjoy Preller's works for younger readers will welcome the return of Jigsaw Jones. Highly recommended, especially for devotees of series such as David A. Adler's "Cam Jansen," Ron Roy's "A to Z Mysteries" and "Calendar Mysteries," and, of course, Marjorie Weinman Sharmat's "Nate the Great." --School Library Journal
