This book was much better than I expected. I had read a newspaper article about the author and how she was really not very well known in Australia but very popular overseas so I was expecting a much less well written book. However, I really enjoyed this. I could easily identify with the characters and the sting in the tail of the story was a complete surprise. I gave it to a friend as soon as I had finished and she couldn't put it down either!

The 2nd half was a page tuner. I enjoyed her writing style and how it was based in Australia, giving that sense of familiarity. Easy to pick up after a few days of not reading. I will be recommending this to friends.

I was agreeably surprised by this book. I thought it would be a silly chick lit but it was really well written, had a good plot and was very interesting. I won't be so judgemental in future and have ordered another of her books.
