When the Light Flickers

They took her from her home. Now she must survive.

Thirteen-year-old Madeline has already lost her mother during the Nazi occupation of France. When her father is arrested for a crime he didn't commit, she is taken from her farm home and forced into the estate of the Oberf¼hrer responsible for the loss of both parents.

Inside the estate, every move carries risk, and as Madeline struggles to navigate a world of fear and manipulation, she is drawn into something even more dangerous: a resistance network operating through her abandoned home.

Across the ocean, Elena believes she is answering a higher calling when she volunteers for the war, but her faith and conviction are soon tested when she is pulled into a covert operation in Nazi-occupied territory. After one mistake changes everything, she is given a second chance-one that places her directly inside the Oberf¼hrer's household.

Meanwhile, Jack never wanted the war. A self-destructive soldier with nothing left to prove, he accepts a mission that could send him home for good. But when it fails, he finds himself imprisoned alongside a man with one final request: Find my daughter.

As the Oberf¼hrer begins to close in on the resistance network, the three paths begin to converge at a single point. But at the center of it stands the cruel Oberf¼hrer, and to stop him, they will have to risk everything.
