About the Authors

Jonathan Gershuny is Professor of Economic Sociology in the Department of Sociology, University of Oxford, and Director of the Centre for Time Use Research. His previous books include After Industrial Society and Changing Times.

Oriel Sullivan is Professor of Sociology of Gender in the Department of Sociology, University of Oxford, and Co-Director of the Centre for Time Use Research. Her previous publications include Changing Gender Relations, Changing Families- Tracing the Pace of Change.
