About the Author

Helen Ward has created over 25 picture books and has been praised for her lucid prose and meticulous illustrations. The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse (Templar, 2011) was named by the Times as Picture Book of the Year.

About the Illustrator

Marc Craste is a senior animation director at Studio Aka, where he has designed and directed numerous awardwinning commercials. His adaptation of Varmints was shortlisted for an Oscar and nominated for a BAFTA. Author Helen Ward lives in Gloucestershire, UK; illustrator Marc Craste lives in London, UK.
