On the morning of October 7, 2023, Bar Kupershtein saved hundreds of lives at Israel's Nova music festival. Hours later, he was dragged into the tunnels beneath Gaza - a hostage of Hamas.
Bar had always carried weight. The eldest of five, he became his family's provider after his father was severely injured. Responsibility wasn't a choice. It was who he was.
So when the gunmen came at dawn, he didn't run. He pulled the wounded from the gunfire, kept them moving, kept them alive - until he was forced underground and the world above vanished.
738 days. No sunlight. Relentless hunger. In the darkness beneath Gaza, Bar and his fellow hostages fought not only to survive, but to stay human. They shared single kernels of corn. They prayed. They dreamed of home. They held on.
What kept Bar alive wasn't hope alone. It was an unshakable certainty that he would walk free again - carried by his mother's prayers and his father's quiet strength.
He was right.
Unbreakable is the true story of one man's 738 days in darkness, and the extraordinary light he refused to let go out. For anyone who believes in the resilience of the human spirit, this is a story you will never forget.
