UBIX seeks omniscience by gathering knowledge from life forms throughout the universe. Blair is in a race against time because she learns that many of the others have not survived and Ames body is failing. Blair must grapple with her unresolved feelings for Ames while dealing with the ominous implications of UBIX's mission.
