Turtle Lake

"Turtle Lake should be published for the public safety and to put an unsuspecting business community on notice as to what a character like Jim Peters could do to them."

-Dan Petrella, Assistant Wayne County Prosecutor, Detroit, MI

"I've been in the criminal justice system for 23 years, and Milne's portrayal of the criminal mind is very accurate. Once I began reading, I could not put it down."

-George Agnello, Michigan Department of Corrections, Detroit, MI

"When the mind of the educated and intelligent person turns to criminality, the amount of terror can be devastating. As a Detroit police officer, I find the extortion plans to be an eerie plausibility."

-Martin Zeld, crime scene technician, Detroit, MI

"Turtle Lake has as many twists as a swimming snake, and some of the descriptive phrases are just plain stunning."

-Wally Green, The County Press, Lapeer, MI

"Milne's insights into the underbelly of mankind are outstanding. The predator became the watcher and the watcher the predator. I had the feeling that Milne was somewhere in the room watching ME! It was eerie."

-Jackie Silver, psychologist, La Mesa, CA

"Every time I attempt to express my enthusiasm for Turtle Lake, I get writer's block. What an ingenious way to show that, with all our modern technology and sophistication, we are still just a part of life, finding our way on a web woven by the creator, constantly faced with strategic and moral choices."

-Max Gail, actor, Malibu, CA

"Turtle Lake is the most interesting book I've ever read. The book combines laws of nature that cannot be denied with everyday events we take for granted and spins them into a wild tale of drama. The relevance of the golden eagle that lives on the island elevates Turtle Lake from simply being a novel to a piece of literature."

-Alberta Craft, book reviewer, Toronto, ON
