Trusting His Timing

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Trusting His Timing. It is the continuation of Following His Lead, and I couldn't wait for this one to pick up with the story. It was moving and full of interest and wonder about the characters' lives. It was hard to put the book down until I got to the end. Waiting for the next book!

Rhonda Baldwin's second novel, Trusting His Timing, is a reminder of God's goodness in both the good times and challenging times of our lives that we all go through! The story is a sequel to her first book, Following His Lead. We find out what happens to the two main characters, Cayden and Daniel, that left us with a cliffhanger in her first book. In her second book, we get to know more of the couple's friends, especially Allie and Luke, and really see how their friendships, trials, faith, and trust in God grow deeper as they navigate life! I daresay, we've all been touched by the heartache that Allie experiences in recent years and it's a reminder that God is always in control no matter what man does in this world. I highly recommend Trusting His Timing, as you'll see these characters understand that God is always good and His goodness extends to all aspects of our lives, especially during challenging times. Another cliffhanger in book 2? Read for yourself, but I surely can't wait for book 3!

It was a pleasure to be asked to read Trusting His Timing! I hope this series continues as I do enjoy reading Rhonda's books. It was very easy for me to get caught up in this story and the characters of this novel. I truly felt as if I was seeing what they were seeing and was praising the Lord right along with them! What a solid testimony these friends have. I found this book very relatable to our current times. I highly recommend this book. What a blessing Rhonda's writing is to me!

Trusting His Timing is a wonderful story of a group of friends and family that trust in God's timing. I loved the story and its real-life situations that so many experience. It should remind us that God's timing is always perfect.

After waiting for this sequel, I was excited to see what lay ahead for our beloved characters. Having seen them learn to follow, growing in His way, I now got to see them learn to wait on Him in His time, reminding me of my need to trust Him on the seemingly insignificant days to disciple me to trust Him during the most difficult days and months.

We all experienced the COVID pandemic. The characters in Trusting His Timing face the same isolation, fear, grief, and loss as we did. They face it all, learning with each trial to trust His will in every part of their journey.
