Trace Wolf was known around Wolf Creek to be a ladies' man. The truth of the matter, he was nothing like his reputation. When his brother Will married their housekeeper, Samantha Andrews, something deep inside of him appeared out of nowhere. After his brother, Josh, took the job of deputy, he was alone most nights stargazing on the deck of the house they grew up in.
One night a shooting star lit up the sky and he made a simple wish to find what his brother Will had found. The ladies he knew around town weren't what he wanted, especially Brianna Combs.

Star Sweet Eagle fled the reservation in search of her brother Shadow Strong Eagle. Falcon pursues her and thankfully loses her trail just before she crosses the reservation border into Wyoming.
