As the pandemic lessened its grip on the world, we have all been living through an extraordinary time in history. Some of the topics covered are the Trump attempted coup, Trump's 91 felony charges, Trump's denial of 2020 election loss, Trump's disregard for the law, post-pandemic problems, women's rights, racism, civil rights abuses, and Republican speakership elections.

Each of us has our own unique set of experiences from the post-pandemic period, but we have also, in certain ways, lived through many of these events together. It is the author's hope that the series of historical poems presented here will serve as a brief summary of this extraordinary period.
