This book features simple, stress-free projects for when you're short on time but still want to get your sewing fix. With 20 dressmaking projects that can be whipped up in an afternoon, readers can get the instant gratification that comes with completing a craft project and have something new to wear the same evening. With the ever-increasing fast pace of our lifestyle, it's a struggle to find time to be creative. Makers are reaching for uncomplicated patterns that are quick and easy to sew - indeed, Tilly and the Buttons' bestselling sewing patterns are all simple ones.

Juggling motherhood and running a business, the author Tilly Walnes sympathizes - gone are the days of marathon weekend sewing sessions, now any craft time is a short sewing sprint before bed. Every one of the projects in this book will be quick to make, easy to fit, and require a limited number of notions or special tools. Instructions will be presented in a unique "batch sewing order", requiring fewer thread changes, less getting up to use the iron or move to the overlocker. They will be wearable clothes that readers will want to make again and again - the ultimate t-shirt, easy-fitting jumpsuit, simple pinafore, drawstring waist dress. - thus saving extra time by sewing multiple versions at once.

Following the same format as Love at First Stitch, the book will include sheets in the back for six or seven sewing patterns, designed for both woven and knit fabrics. 'Make it Your Own' sections will outline pattern hacks or design variations for when you want to take a bit more time and make something even more unique. 'Make it a Lifestyle' will cover topics such as sewing shortcuts, batch sewing, making time for creativity, tips for stress-free sewing, and why it's important to fit craft into your life for mindfulness and wellbeing.

The book will also include an introductory chapter on sewing basics, meaning it could be an entry-level book for new stitchers as well as appealing to more experienced sewists looking for more pattern ideas. The book will match the aesthetic of the previous two books, with extra white space to create a sense of simplicity.
