Very cute story that teaches kids (and parents) the value of a person's worth over material things. A lesson that needs to be taught early in life and reinforced through action. The illustrations are extremely well done and it's going to be easy for children to fall in love with Dewey the Dragon!

This is an awesome book for kids. The pictures are stunning and draw the user into the story. The story itself has all the elements of a great children's book - an easy to follow story, suspense, relationship and, of course, dragons.Even more importantly though, this book reminds children that they are more valuable than anything else on this planet. As parents, most of us feel that way, but it's easy in the hustle and bustle of everyday life to forget that kids need to hear it. It's easy to assume that they know how important they are too us and never even realize how desperately they need to hear.
