THE FORBIDDEN

My life wasn't supposed to go this way. Correction. I wasn't supposed to have a life at all. I'm forbidden, born against the will of our Gods, making me feel outcasted more than ever, which I didn't realize was possible. My existence is a burden to all of those I love, but here I am, lost in my own skin. Ignorant to my own kind.

I would say I have hope, but when your own mother outcasts you, and you have no choice but accept help from your terrifying father, you start to question a thing or two.

My Unleashing is only two weeks away and these powers are wickedly unpredictable let alone the nightmares I can no longer separate from reality. I am starting to lose my mind and my body is constantly...changing. The only thing motivating me now is to shut up that Eelite who makes every fiber of my body burn when I see that sinical smile of his trying to prove me wrong every chance he gets.

I just keep telling myself it will all be worth it...right?

NATURE'S KEEPER

I am trained to kill humans, and her thinking like one makes me want to grip her throat. I guess I can't blame her. She was raised by the wrong species. Humans, ignorant, pathetic creatures. Rayna is the most unique of us, because she is the first of her particular kind, and they don't even know how to handle her. But I do. I know how to push that little princess until she gives out. I'll break her in.

She thinks she can push me? No, no, I haven't caused all this havoc in her life to go easy on her now, the fun is just getting started. Her father trusts me to train her against my wishes, so if I have to suffer, my little princess will suffer with me.
