The Synaptic Code

When a Chennai biotech giant, GenCure, pioneers a viral protein that heals brain synapses, neurosurgeon Dr Rajesh Venugopalan and neuroscientist Dr Sowmya Sudhakar believe they've found the future of neuro-medicine. But the creation, known as the Symbiont, begins to alter emotion itself, amplifying empathy until free will collapses. As compassion spreads like contagion, cities descend into paralysis and control shifts from medicine to manipulation. While rival corporations and a distant island monarchy race to weaponise the discovery, Rajesh, Sowmya, and paediatrician Dr Hema Rajesh must engineer a digital counter-signal before humanity's neural networks, and its individuality, are rewritten forever.

The Synaptic Code is a medical-techno thriller of moral urgency and scientific precision, exploring how artificial intelligence and biology could merge to reshape emotion itself, and what remains of the soul when empathy becomes contagious.
