Bru finds an old dark green hat and makes wild assumptions about the person who wore it, claiming they are a dangerous, selfish spy. He convinces his friends, Tux, KaWally, McWhiskers, and PJ, to prepare for a confrontation. When they find the "suspicious" figure under a bush, they prepare to attack, only to discover it's Puddles, who had been napping after losing his hat. Puddles explains that the hat belonged to his kind father, who was loved by all. Bru realizes he was wrong to judge based on appearances and learns the lesson of not making assumptions about others.
