This is the second volume of a Trilogy dealing with Anglo-German naval affairs and conflict before and during the First World War. The first volume dealt with the period leading up to the outbreak of hostilities, and the role the German Navy played in ensuring that Great Britain would be progressively alienated and eventually, reluctantly, driven into the enemy camp.
