A cheerful insect’s fun day at the beach goes terribly wrong in this whimsical picture book. It was a beautiful morning, and the fly had everything he needed to go swimming: a bag, a ball, a towel, and some sunscreen. The water was not too hot, not too cold, just the way he liked it. But little did he know he was in for a big surprise—he was really swimming in a toilet bowl! With charming illustrations, this hilarious and unexpected story will delight youngsters.

It's hard to convey the genius of The Fly without giving away the punch line. Sunday Telegraph Tidily told and wittily illustrated by Gusti, this unusual picture story book may raise some puritanical eyebrows. On the other hand it's likely to appeal greatly to many young readers (and to some of their grandparents!) who are not adverse to toilet humour. I confess that both my wife and I giggled!
