The Emperors' War

Seven years of unremitting war between the invading Naplian Empire and the Terran
Republic has humanity and its allies on the run. There seems to be no stopping the
onslaught as the Naplians crush all resistance, no matter what obstacles the Terrans
and the Briddarri can throw in their path.

No one understands the strain more than Major Taggart Wester, the starfighter
commander who has seen his share of battles and secret missions. So when the
admiralty comes up with a final shot at crippling the Naplian supply lines, he's all for it.

The plan: To attack the Baedecker System and wrest it from Naplian hands.
The problem: Betrayal lurks around every corner.

It doesn't help matters that the Terrans have been waging a secret war of their own against
Briddarri cybernetic experiments.

Tag is left wondering who he can trust-the reformed thief Lira Lin Reen, the android
spy Dyson Ashteo, and Elden Selva, the Truppen cyborg warlord waging a one-man
crusade against any power that would try to field cybernetics. Together, they may just
stand a chance of cutting off the Naplians once and for all.

But even if they win, there are forces at work willing to bend all the rules in order to
bring about a terrifying calamity that will change the galaxy forever.
