This book was absolutely intense. Had me on the edge of my seat and completely engrossed from page one all the way to the end. This is Derek's story and it's a dark and brutal one. Abused repeatedly as a child he grows to be hardened and strong in order to protect himself and his lil brother. The ending will leave you questioning what's in store next and definitely wanting more!! Am definitely looking forward to the next book in series and where Brooklyn will take us next. Do be aware of TW. If you like dark, brutal, un-aliving anti-heroes then you definitely need to read this book. Highly recommend it!!

D¤mn did this book take me down a dark and dÄ"prÄved rabbit hole and I'm not sure I want to find my way out. Talk about a book that gives you all the emotions. It draws you in from the first page and takes you on a ride with highs and lows that will make you laugh, cry and seriously question your m¸ral compass
ï»ï»ï»ï»ï»ï»ï»ï»ï»ï»ï»ï»This is book two in The Consumed Trilogy and once again Brooklyn Cross has written a brilliant and dark steamy read! I was hooked from beginning to end and completely lost in the story. The characters are absolutely amazing and I definitely felt their emotions while reading.

Asher is simply everything, he is kind and patient but also fierce and just damn sexy!!!! This book took me through all the emotions. Well done Ms Cross!!!! I cannot wait for the next book!!!!
