Between Books 2 and 3 of the 12-volume Wes Crowley saga, there's a 15-year gap. This is the second book that sets out to fill that gap. Hence, the Wes Crowley Gap Series.
The comancheros in the northwest corner of the Texas panhandle are planning something big. But even as they plan, someone is wreaking havoc on farms southwest of Amarillo. The MO is the same, as is the signature, but can it be the same groups? Can Wes and the other Rangers stop the apparent widespread outbreak of savagery? Perhaps with the help of a new deputy sheriff. Her name is Susan May, and she's only too eager to help.
If you've ever dreamed of riding wild on a good horse in a just cause, this is the series for you. Saddle up and come along!
