This was such a fun, lighthearted read! The Cheese Hustle by Michael Sumler had me smiling the whole way through. The way he uses figurative language really pulled me in-it added depth, richness, and made the scenes so easy to picture in my head. I could almost see it all playing out like a movie, and I couldn't help rooting for the main character the whole time.
It's more than just funny, though. It leaves you with hope-reminding you that no matter what's in your way, you can still come out on top if you refuse to quit. And in a world where AI seems to be taking over everything, this book is a sweet reminder that humans-flaws and all-bring something no algorithm can.
As the author says: "But we care. We try. We remember your name and your order, and sometimes we risk everything just to bring you a hot slice of something good on a bad night."
