Fortunately, statistics released by the WHO between January 2022 and January 2023 show that the number of confirmed cases and deaths due to the COVID-19 pandemic dropped significantly worldwide.

This drop is due to targeted measures such as social distancing, using face masks, and developing and distributing vaccines to help combat the spread of COVID-19. Smart tools such as mathematical modeling and intelligent control played active roles in developing and implementing these radical measures.
