Join Spot and his family as they celebrate a sunny summer Christmas on the beach in this lift-the-flap story!

It's Christmas Day, and the sun is shining! Everyone is very excited to head to the beach for a picnic. But when it's time to tuck into Christmas lunch, Spot disappears - where did he go?

Toddlers will enjoy searching for Spot as they follow along through this summer Christmas story, with lots of animals to meet along the way! This new story is full of the unexpected surprises and gentle humour that makes the original Where's Spot? a children's classic.

With interactive flaps to train fine motor skills, and an adventure that sparks curiosity and imagination, Spot's Summer Christmas is the perfect Christmas gift for early learning and play.

Eric Hill's Where's Spot? was the first ever lift-the-flap book - and his ground-breaking innovation continues to delight and surprise readers with interactive fun. Spot has now been a trusted character in early learning for over 40 years, selling over 65 million books worldwide.

About the Author

Eric Hill (1927-2014) started his artistic career as an art studio messenger and from there went on to become a cartoonist and eventually an art director at a leading advertising agency. In 1978 Eric made up a story about a small puppy to read to his son at bedtime and Spot was born. The success of his first bestselling lift-the-flap classic Where’s Spot? in 1980 convinced him to become a full-time author, and his Spot books have been enjoyed by children around the world ever since. In 2008 he was awarded an OBE for services to children’s literacy.
