Oscar is tired of his parents asking questions, so he decides to escape to the bottom of the garden...and disappears into Nowhere - a world of imagination where he can do exactly as he pleases! But after a day of getting muddy, having adventures and building his own camp, he starts to feel, well, just a little lonely. But just when Oscar is starting to lose hope, a little ginger cat appears to show him the way.

And, in the end, the real adventure is the journey back to somewhere even more special...home.

About the Author

Jeanne Willis was born in St Albans, Herts, in 1959. As a young girl she sought adventures though writing comic strips and books.

After completing a copywriting course at Watford Art College she went on to work in advertising. Today, Jeanne is an internationally renowned, full-time writer and has published over a hundred books ranging from picture books including The Bog Baby and Who's in the Loo?, to YA, poetry and fiction.

She has won several awards, including the Children's Book Award, the Silver Smarties Prize and has also been shortlisted for the Whitbread Award.

About the Illustrator

Anastasia Suvorova is an award-winning children's book illustrator from St. Petersburg, Russia.

She is the 2018 winner of the Bologna Children's Book Fair Silent Book Contest.
