Warm, insightful and thought-provoking blogs on life, death and everything else that makes up this often bumpy journey we are all travellers on.
Sometimes, the most extra-ordinary moments in life are kept from us, not because they are necessarily well hidden but because we seem to have lost the ability to find them.
This book shines a little bit of light into an often dark room, perhaps not enough to brighten it but maybe enough to see that the room may not be completely empty.
All captured with candour, honestly and Wayne’s trademark sense of humour.
Industry Reviews
Don't be fooled by the title! My experience in reading this book has been one of inspired courageous compassionate & clever thinking.
Wayne's incredible honesty & humility injected with humour gently challenged me to examine my own ideas & beliefs.
I could not put this book down amidst both my laugh out loud moments and my quieter "shit that's incredibly captured" moments.
Only a philosophical humble shearer turned entrepreneur could hold my attention like this.
Two words - must read!

Wayne Perkins provides warm, amusing and thought-provoking blogs on the joys and challenges of being a middle-aged New Zealand man in general and the particularly vexed problem of being Wayne Perkins in particular.
Like a good movie; many of Wayne's words and thoughts still float around in my head a week after I read them.
Like a great song lyric; meeting them a second or third time provides the warmth of familiarity coupled with the depth of the re-read providing different avenues of thought.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes to think, who likes to be challenged, and who likes a belly-good laugh.
Well done Wayne!
