Simon Sinek

Simon Sinek

"There are only two ways to influence human behaviour: you can manipulate it or you can inspire it."

Simon Sinkek may be best known for popularising the concept of ‘Why’ in his first Ted Talk in 2009. It rose to become the third most watched on TED.com, with over 37 million views and subtitled in 46 languages.

Sinek is also the author of multiple bestselling books including Start With Why (global best seller), Leaders Eat Last (New York Times and Wall Street Journal best seller), Together is Better (New York Times and Wall Street Journal best seller) and Find Your Why.

These non-fiction books are all excellent titles in the business & management genre, and have become must-reads for anyone looking to move into a leadership position, or hoping to improve their existing management skills.

Meet Simon Sinkek

Simon Sinek is an unshakable optimist who believes in a bright future and our ability to build it together. He discovered remarkable patterns about how the greatest leaders and organisations think, act and communicate.

It all began in London where he was born. He spent time there and in Hong Kong before eventually setting in New Jersey in the US. Even though he studied law, he went on to work in advertising agencies in New York.

After all that, Simon found his genuine passion and talent in public speaking and leadership training. His interest in what makes people and organisations tick gave him a rare insight into workplaces that operate at a higher level than others – and has been sharing those insights and tips ever since.

He now works with huge organisations, from various branches of the US Armed Forces and government agencies, to the RAND Corporation, to improve their leadership and management.

In 2021, Simon founded The Curve, a group of sheriffs and chiefs dedicated to reforming modern policing. This not-for-profit aims to protect the vulnerable and uphold justice in a way that is fair and dignified.
