Washington DC, 1995. What should have been a straightforward restaurant robbery goes horribly wrong: several co-workers are shot in cold blood; the gunman's brother is killed by the police; and a young boy is run over by the careening getaway car.

Three years pass. Victims and their relatives gather in the aftermath, still trying to come to terms with their grief. But gunman Frank Farrow has other ideas.

Now the heat has died down, he is on his way back to Washington, determined to avenge his lost brother - by killing everyone involved in his death.

Industry Reviews

Very few authors can write a ripping yarn like George P, and his new novel featuring investigator Nick Stefanos is no exception. Stefanos becomes embroiled in an old case in which a massacre took place in a pizza parlour and the perpetrators were never brought to justice. But now they've returned to Washington DC to settle the score with the policeman who killed one of the robbers. But the friends and relatives of the victims, joined together in a support group, discover the plot and exact revenge in a spectacular and bloodthirsty manner with the help of Stefanos. George P's prose shoots off the page like fat off a stove, and Stefanos dispatches villains with the alacrity of a chicken on an egg-laying spree. Excellent stuff. (Kirkus UK)
