Scripture and Science

"Many of those who argue for evolutionary processes, both Christian and secular writers, will often try to demean young earth proponents as being "naïve" or "scientifically ignorant." In response to this charge, Dr. Dunckley offers many arguments from respected scientists, both Christian and non-Christian, that help to refute the evolutionary view and that support the Biblical view of creation." - Jeffrey K. Boer, D.Min. Pastor of Sharon Orthodox Presbyterian Church, Hialeah, Florida, USA

One of the great dangers of our day is that of intimidation (making someone fearful through the use of threats). When unbelievers attack God's Word, many professing Christians scurry into the crevices and surrender Scriptural convictions. This so-called "oppositions of science" (1 Timothy 6:20) is NOT overwhelming evidence against the Bible. Revelation gives us a plethora of information about the origins of the earth and the worldwide flood, all in harmony with the physical evidence. But as Dr. Dunckley points in his page 10 footnote, "Revelation is not enough; it requires acceptance as such through faith and application of its truth." Science and Scripture is loaded with the ammunition a Christian needs to counter the atheistic attacks against God's Word.
Dr. Dunckley presents the brickwork of Creationism through sound scientific and Scriptural reasoning. He sets out layer by layer the logic and reasoning of Creation Science. Then, inserting profound illustrations he drives home each point so there's no doubt what he's talking about. I'm impressed with the amount of study and resources Dr. Dunckley has put into this book. Don't start reading it without a highlighter in hand!
Dr. Dunckley asks all the appropriate questions: Questions that will be awkward to those who've checked their minds in at the door. For those true scientists that desire evidence, and want to know how it applies to Bible truth, this book is a must. It will take you through every imaginable topic relating to science and the Scriptures. You will be amazed at the strong counter-arguments available to address the things you learned in the state schools. -- Rev. Steve Lyons, Pastor - Bible Baptist Church - Upper Darby, PA
