Here is a story of the retaking of Fallujah, beginning with the discovery of who'd be fighting, and the deployment of Tyler Boggs-team leader-and his team of Recon Marines, soon hunted by the Alzilal; dreaded fighters plaguing the farmlands. It tells of the struggles that led up to the great battle. Tyler is appointed Tip of the Spear, and he and his team alongside a seasoned reporter, once a warfighter himself, set forth for Fallujah, beset by mortars, roadside bombs, and a constant threat of enemy fire. For their task is to punch into the city, the undisputed stronghold of all resistance, and there to fight for their own lives, the lives of those who depend on them, and for the men at their side.

Screaming Eagles Wings weaves the twentieth anniversary of Operation Phantom Fury with a vivid retelling of growing up in an era of decay, revelations on brotherhood and family, and, above all, the soaring desire in those who live when the soul so often withers; the desire for peace and liberation.
