About the Author

Jill Clay worked as a silk artist and taught adult education including City and Guild Textiles for many years. She started a tour company, Festival of Japan, with a special focus on textiles. Sashiko stitching now remains her favorite pastime. Jill lives in Richmond, North Yorkshire, UK.
