Tony Ferrari didn't expect murder to land him in a cosy English pub. Yet here he is: a dead New Yorker, haunting a snowy village, trying to figure out who killed him and how to "move on."

Death, he discovers, comes with its own inconveniences-like freezing ghostly feet, sarcastic sermons from an Edwardian reverend, and a pub dog with serious bladder issues. But the biggest complication of all is Betty: clever, sharp-tongued, impossibly British, and dead since 1943.
