Architect Rick Bradley is in trouble. The Commonwealth has confiscated the design fees for his company and his engineering consultants, claiming they are the proceeds of crime. Despite the misgivings of his partners, Ric and his team have designed a series of major projects for Michel Hamad that have been financed by Michel's drug syndicate.

The federal police have broken up the syndicate and Michel has been killed in Beirut. The consultant engineers will sue Ric's company unless he can get their fees released. In a confrontation that has gone disastrously wrong, Rick's best friend Al Hamad has shot and wounded Rick and killed Michel's right-hand man.
