Resurrection is a horror novel about death refusing to stay buried. It blends supernatural dread, ancient curses, and psychological torment into a story where the very act of bringing something back to life unravels reality itself.

In the small town of Ashwood Hollow, a centuries-old graveyard is disturbed when a massive storm tears through the land, exposing coffins and bones long forgotten. Among them lies a crypt belonging to the Devereaux family—a dynasty that was wiped out in a mysterious fire in 1866. Inside rests something that was never meant to be unearthed: the Resurrection Codex, a forbidden text said to contain the secret to reversing death.

Dr. Elias Morgan, a grieving surgeon who recently lost his daughter, discovers the codex while volunteering to help with storm cleanup. Driven by despair, he tests its power—and succeeds. His daughter returns, but she is... different. Her eyes are too dark, her smile too sharp, and she speaks of things no child should know.

As more townsfolk experiment with the codex, the dead begin to claw their way out of graves, but they do not come back whole. The town is soon overwhelmed by revenants—some whispering secrets of the grave, others hungering for flesh, and a few possessed by something ancient and vengeful that uses the resurrected bodies as vessels.

The survivors realize too late: the book does not resurrect life. It resurrects what waits beneath death.
