The ultimate conspiracy theory, Reality is a science fiction thriller unlike anything else.
August, 2001
Deep in the heart of Africa, four kidnapped men are forced to compete against each other in a secret game called Reality. They need to survive the scorching heat of the Sahara, and the dangerous wild animals of the savannah, to warn the world in time before the greatest terrorist attack in history takes place.
When British ex-tabloid journalist Charlie Grimer is contacted by Ernst Jaeger, a young investment banker from Germany, and his girlfriend Anna, they warn him about an unfolding conspiracy which Ernst has inadvertently stumbled upon at the bank where he is employed. Not believing them at first, Charlie quickly changes his mind after their dire predictions tragically come true.
Over time they learn about The Syndicate, a secret group of powerful people who are planning to carry out astonishing, terrifying attacks on New York City and Washington DC, threatening to plunge the entire world into war and chaos.
But despite everything they uncover, what they don't know is exactly when the attacks will be.
Two more people are unintentionally drawn into the elaborate conspiracy: Dale Crumb, a cunning and corrupt New York investment banker; and Blaze Mullins, a shy introverted 19-year old Aborigine from the Australian Outback.
Upon their discovery by The Syndicate, Charlie, Ernst, Blaze and Dale are kidnapped and taken to the Sahara in Africa where they are forced to compete in a game of survival called Reality for the secret group's twisted entertainment. The game is the first of its kind and hosted by Metatron, an Artificially Intelligent supercomputer created by The Syndicate to help them dominate the world.
As the four men come to grips with their own fateful pasts, they attempt to unravel The Syndicate's secret evil plan and reveal the date of the terrorist attacks in time to stop them.
However, the unlikely group must not just survive the relentless scorching heat of the desert sun, as well as the wild animals of the African savannah, but they must also outwit and battle each other. . . for there can only be one winner of Reality.

Industry Reviews
"Reality by DC Wince ticks every box for me. The plot is intriguing, thought-provoking, and compelling. The author's descriptive narrative transports you immediately into the world of the characters; the mixture of action and tension was perfect; there are many conspiracy theories covered such as the New World Order, corrupt financial organizations, governments, and intelligence agencies with secret and dangerous agendas that place humanity's safety in jeopardy; the dialogue exchanges were amazing and, at times, powerfully emotional. The story never lagged and I was completely gripped until the very end; I look forward to reading the next book in this series." Lesley Jones, Readers' Favorite, âââââ 5 Stars
"Author DC Wince has crafted a high stakes, all action work of fiction with plenty of thrills, chills and battles of wits to offer its readers. I was amazed by how much plot this novel packs into every punch, offering both a race-against-time battle to end the conspiracy and a clever no-holds-barred survival story in one; I would certainly recommend Reality to fans of clever thriller drama, Battle Royale-styled action and for science fiction fans everywhere." K.C. Finn, Readers' Favorite, âââââ 5 Stars
"Near-future fiction at its finest, Reality by DC Wince is a thrilling and unpredictable leap into fight or flight mode; readers are submerged in a strange carnival of limitless power, the desperate search for truth, and the raw potential of humanity's survival instinct; Wince doesn't rush the drama, but slowly peels back the psychological depth of this bizarre, voyeuristic game; Reality is a knockout thriller with broad appeal for high-brow sci-fi lovers and dystopian YA lit fans alike." John Staughton, Self-Publishing Review, ââââ 4 Stars
"Reality is a fast-paced, high-octane adventure that carries the reader along on a roller-coaster of emotions and connection; ...makes for an interesting and stimulating read. I can recommend this tale to adventure lovers." Grant Leishman, Readers' Favorite, ââââ 4 Stars
"Gripping; ...a mesmerizing web of conspiracy theories in the form of captivating fiction; the protagonists are interesting and varied, unveiling unique personalities; readers who believe life, as humanity has been living it, might be nothing more than a poorly scripted, sadistic video game overseen by shadowy power players operating behind-the-scenes, will likely be spellbound." C.S. Holmes, IndieReader, 3.5 / 5
