Blood Oath

After searching for over a year, Draven finally finds Cali in her enclosure at Byron's house. But she's nearly forgotten him, and he must start over gaining her trust before he attempts to rescue her.

But escape is only the beginning. Braving the harsh conditions of the mountains without the aide of technology proves hazardous and deadly. And the elements are not the only thing intent on their destruction. Byron calls upon the government to track down his runaway, but he will only wait so long before taking matters into his own hands.

As Cali withers away, her fragile human body no match for the temperatures and inadequate food supply, and Byron closes in, Draven begins to wonder if his attempt at rescuing Cali from Superior rule means not freedom, but certain death.
