The Promise of the Snow Gryphon (Clock Winders)

The snow gryphon Tel nos has just met his future charge (the person he will eventually be assigned to protect) who traveled back in time to secure a promise from him. While keeping watch on a magical Time Glass connected to the promise, the snow gryphon finds himself struggling with whether or not he will be able to keep his word. To take his mind off of this troubling situation, Tel nos is keeping busy helping other human beings in the here and now, many of whom are themselves struggling to cope with the latest form of malice cooked up by the sorcerers and their followers--a chemical creation known as a hypnoid that causes anyone under its influence to obey certain commands. Even family members and close friends could be affected and not even know it, a factor throwing many communities into suspicion and chaos. However, people still must go on living, and taking on projects, such as a very important one in involving gemstones, dragons, and Myramids (many magical pyramids). Amidst various scares and hardships, our heroes come to discover that, perhaps even more than the worst of human beings, the best of us also very much need the blessing of Second Chances. Ages 11+
