About the Author

Beth Cox is an Inclusion and Equality Consultant and a co-founder of Inclusive Minds (R), an initiative that connects publishers with young people with lived experience of marginalisation. She’s passionate about inclusion in all aspects of life, and understand that the acceptance and appreciation of a diverse range of bodies is integral to this. Her goal is to support everyone involved in the creation of children’s books and publications to be active participants in inclusive representation, to the point where inclusion becomes totally natural and incidental – just as it should be. Beth is the author of the ‘Mindfully Me’ series of activity books, alongside Natalie Costa.

About the Illustrator

Samantha Meredith graduated from Loughborough University in 2001 with a BA(Hons) in Illustration. She currently works from a little house in North London, drawing pictures all day whilst drinking tea and wearing panda slippers. She spends most of her time designing and illustrating children’s books. She also occasionally works in-house for various studios… but leaves the pandas at home.
