Teggs Stegosaur is a brand new pupil at the Astrosaur Academy where all astro-cadets go to complete their training. He hopes to become an ASTROSAUR one day but for now he has classes to attend, missions to complete and lessons to learn. His new best friends and roommates, Blink and Dutch, are always his first choice for fun - but also to work with on his homework! Together they make a great team - the Daring Dinos!

The cadets are on their first mission to Quarrik - a deserted wilderness - where they have to build a camp and discover something exciting and unusual to take back to the academy for show-and-tell. But, when a T. rex ship crash-lands in the middle of their mission, only the Daring Dinos can stop their fellow cadets from becoming dino-dinner...

About the Author

Born in 1971, Steve Cole spent a happy childhood in rural Bedfordshire being loud and aspiring to amuse. He liked books, and so went to the University of East Anglia to read more of them. Later on he started writing them too, with titles ranging from pre-school poetry to Young Adult thrillers (with more TV and film tie-ins than he cares to admit to along the way). In other careers he has been the editor of Noddy magazine, the voice of a Dalek and an editor of fiction and nonfiction book titles for various publishers.
