Cosmic Censorship Vol.4

Maki Makino was once an ordinary high school girl in Japan – until temporal rifts and alien threats pulled her across the timeline. Now, armed with extraordinary powers, she must battle awakened mecha beyond time’s edge, or risk seeing everything she fights for erased.

As threads of time unravel, Maki Makino finds herself at the center of a conflict that spans realities. In Volume 4, the fragile boundary between parallel timelines shatters: new versions of rogue mecha – summoned from futures that never should have existed – emerge, threatening to consume everything.

Meanwhile, Roger Penrose’s temporal interventions grow erratic, revealing cracks in his resolve and stirring troubling questions – is he protecting the future, or reshaping it? Maki’s powers deepen unpredictably, unlocking abilities that could heal or obliterate the timeline itself.

Amidst this high-stakes upheaval, alliances fracture when a parallel-version ally appears… and inexplicably vanishes. Betrayals emerge not from enemy forces but from alternate selves, forcing Maki to question reality – and the price of survival.

With its blend of intricate mecha designs, existential suspense, and emotional turbulence, Volume 4 pushes Cosmic Censorship into even more daring territory. Here, sci-fi spectacle meets psychological depth: every action ripples across time, and every choice could rewrite destiny. Creator Ryu-Ichi Sadamatsu brings these brilliant mecha battles and time-shattering conflicts to vivid life, balancing spectacle with psychological depth.
