"Top 10 Must Read Manga of 2024" - Publishers Weekly

From the eponymous anime on Crunchyroll and set in a world where humanity has been hunted to near extinction. This is a story about a golem who, though seemingly heartless, risks its life to protect the smile of a little girl.

The adventure of a lifetime awaits as the unlikely pair traverse a world of goblins and monsters all for the sake of humanity! The quest to find the dregs of humanity continues in the third volume with a deep dive into Somali and The Golem's first encounter!

The origins of Somali are revealed! A fateful encounter deep within a forest between a Golem and a little girl would change the course of the world as they know it. Through an arduous path, the innocent human girl would wear down the stony exterior of the Golem she would soon call 'father' and an unbreakable bond would form!

Written and illustrated by the superb Yako Gureishi, Somali and the Forest Spirit's second volume continues a heart-warming story seen in the hit anime on Crunchyroll. A story of the Golem that leaves its responsibility behind to protect the life of what could be, the last human child.

Uncover the vibrant world in which goblins, oni and monsters are the norm and humans are ostracized to the brink of extinction, but one forest spirit risks everything to protect what is dearest to him.
