Gareth Hanrahan is a writer, editor and game designer who lives in Cork, Ireland. Introduced to The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings at an impressionable age, he has gone on to forge a career in the field of science fiction and fantasy, including the development of a cycle of adventures for a Middle-earth role-playing game. Having made a long study of the legends and lore of Middle-earth, Gareth has brought his knowledge to Tolkien's World to reveal the amazing peoples and places of that magical world as never before.
