Skye's Lure

A mermaid's draw to forbidden land and the humans it harbors brings an impossible choice: Follow the rules, or follow her heart. A colorful party yacht drifts by one evening, blazing the surface with it's twinkling lights. Skye, unable to sleep, sneaks away from her pod to observe the humans, but what starts as a sightseeing adventure turns into a rescue when one man falls overboard. Forced to stay hidden, she flees the scene, but her heart has been touched by her contact with the man. Later, the boat returns, and so does she. Stranded, Skye must find a way to return to the ocean without exposing the Mer and ushering in an age of mermaid genocide. But after all of the mistakes she's made, can she trust her heart to help her find the way home? Fans of D.S.
