About the Author

John Connolly is the author of crime novels featuring private investigator Charlie Parker. He has written sixteen books, including The Book Of Lost Things, Nocturnes and the Samuel Johnson books for young readers. He is the first non-American writer to win the US Shamus award. In 2007 he was awarded the Irish Post Award for Literature.
