What we can’t expect is a straightforward moral to the story, where-by difficult situations are simply resolved.

By the end of Ivan’s story we take comfort in the fact that this young crocodile has found a way of feeling less alone as he takes his place in class with all the others.

About the Author

Rene Gouichoux has been a teacher and writer for children since 1988. He has written more than 60 books, many of which have been translated into several languages.
