Words cannot describe the exquisite beauty of this book. Beautifully presented in a large format hardcover book. It has over 200 illustrations PLUS 8 prints that are worth the value of the book itself and they would all look fabulous when they are framed PLUS there is a pull-out poster (but the poster is just a replica of the front cover with the wording so you wouldn't frame that in most circumstances). Other than that, it is packed with typed text and in many instances hand-written notes that look excellent next to the illustrations. Incredible value and no doubt everyone that purchases it or receives it as a gift will be taken aback by its beauty. Very highly recommended.

About The Author

Brian Froud is an artist, author, designer, and faery authority. He is the author of Lady Cottington’s Pressed Fairy Book, Good Faeries / Bad Faeries, The Faeries’ Oracle, Brian Froud’s Goblins!, and The Heart of Faerie.

Alan Lee is an Academy Award–winning movie conceptual designer and illustrator. He is well known for his illustration of Tolkien’s Middle Earth books and The Lord of the Rings film trilogy.

The Foreward is written by Jane Yolen and she has written more than 200 books for children and adults, including the acclaimed The Devil’s Arithmetic.
