Industry Reviews

." . . an impounded trade fleet and a missing officer . . . the specter of interstellar war. . . . In short--a typical day for Miles Vorkosigan. [Bujold] draws the reader in with engaging characters involved in readable plots."
"As usual, when Miles get involved nothing is as simple as it appears. . . . Despite all the military fireworks . . . this has more the air of a Thin Man movie . . . a lot of fun."
"As usual, Bujold is adept at world-building and provides a witty, character-centered plot, full of exquisite grace notes . . . fans will be thoroughly gripped and likely to finish the book in a single setting."
"Each addition to the Vorkosigan mystique solidifies Ms. Bujold's niche in SF."
"The latest in Bujold's popular 'Vorkosigan Saga' continues the adventures of one of the genre's most enterprising and engaging heroes. Recommended. . . ."
